Today I installed Linux Mint Fluxbox on my Asus Eee PC 1000H netbook. I have played around with Mint before but on this netbook it was a little sluggish.
While surfing the web I came across Fluxbox which, from what I can tell, is a little lighter than the normal Mint distribution so I figured it may work better on my under powered PC.
Installing Mint Fluxbox 9 was easy. I used Unetbootin to burn the ISO I downloaded from the Linux Mint website to a USB. I loaded it as a live CD first but then pulled the trigger and installed it to the hard drive.
Once I have had time to play with it, I’ll post some updates on my experience here.
